HCG Diet Recipes: Delicious and Easy

It is often hard to choose favorites when it comes to HCG Diet recipes. Most everyone we talk to here at Weight Loss Medical Center has their personal list of go-to options for quick, healthy, and delicious eating. Some people look forward to making a daily smoothie or frappe. For others, it is all about sinking their teeth into a piece of steak. International cuisine options also top the list of favorite HCG Diet recipes.

You never have to worry about coming up with something good to eat since we provide a recipe book as part of our HCG Diet guide. Whether you are looking for a way to prepare beef, chicken, fish, or shellfish – we have you covered.

The first two days of the HCG injections are not a time for HCG Diet recipes. Phase 1 is the loading period where we need you to eat at least 1 ½ times the number of calories as usual. Aim for a minimum of 2,000 calories of foods high in fat.

Now is the time to make your favorite 7-layer dip since you will not be eating chips again for a while. Go to your favorite buffet, indulge in macaroni and cheese – eat the foods you think you will miss while losing weight.

You also do not need any HCG Diet recipes for breakfast. Each morning you will consume 16 ounces of water and one apple or grapefruit. You may also have tea or coffee if desired, and an egg (if protein is needed).

Lunch and dinner consist of our HCG Diet approved recipes, or your family favorites modified to fit the HCG Diet guidelines.

HCG Diet Recipes for Phase 2

When it comes to easy to prepare HCG Diet recipes, Phase 2 selections do not disappoint. You will notice that many of the recipes require only one pan or pot for preparation. The goal is to get you out of the kitchen and focused on your life – not food.

HCG Diet recipe options are interchangeable. We also recommend doubling, tripling, or quadrupling the recipes, so you have leftovers, or to feed a large family. Dinner tonight can be lunch taken to work tomorrow. Just remember to follow all dietary guidelines and consume between 500 and 700 calories a day.

Some of our favorite HCG Diet recipes, lunch and dinner, include:

  • Baked Apple Chicken (sweet and savory)
  • Chicken Asparagus Bake (entire meal in one pan)
  • Tomato Basil Chicken (excellent over Shirataki Noodles)
  • Sweet and Sour Chicken (delicious over Shirataki Rice)
  • Buffalo Style Chicken Fingers (a favorite of kids)
  • Crock Pot Chicken (fix it and forget it)
  • Lemon Pepper Fish (great with broccoli)
  • Cabbage Rolls (great as lunchtime leftovers)
  • Thai Cucumber Beef Salad (lunch favorite)
  • Pepper or Mustard Crusted Steak (serve with roasted or grilled peppers)

If you want to reward yourself with a treat in the evening, whip up the Virgin Sparkling Mojito below:

  • Crush mint leaves in the bottom of a tall glass, squeeze in the juice of ½ lemon or lime, add 6 ounces of sparkling mineral water, and plain or peppermint powdered stevia to taste. Mix well and fill the glass with crushed ice and top with a sprig of mint.

HCG Diet Recipes for Phase 3

When you complete your HCG injection cycle (4 – 6 weeks), you will be ready to enter Phase 3. Here you will increase your daily calories and add back many of the foods taken away during Phase 2.

Do not consume sugar or carbohydrates until you have achieved your final weight and finished this phase. You can enjoy healthy fats, dairy, and many other food options at this time. Some of our favorite HCG Diet recipes, Phase 3 modified include:

  • HCG Beef Chili (topped with shredded cheese or sour cream)
  • Ginger Garlic Beef (with peppers and onions over Shirataki rice)
  • Chicken or Veal Picatta (add a little grassfed butter to the sauce)
  • Beef Stew (add other vegetables for a heartier stew)
  • Hamburgers (top with bacon)
  • Pepper Crusted Steak (top with blue cheese or provolone and sautéed onions or mushrooms)
  • Lemon Zest Crab Cakes (great with sautéed zucchini)
  • Steamed Lobster (with drawn butter, of course)
  • Meatballs and “Spaghetti” (Shirataki Noodles topped with parmesan cheese)
  • Middle Eastern Spiced Chicken (serve with homemade hummus)
  • Chicken Tacos (serve with shredded cheese, plain Greek yogurt, or sour cream)

When it comes to preparing HCG Diet recipes, dinner will often be on the table in less than 30 minutes. Since you can now add alcohol (in moderation) to your diet, you may spice up that mojito we mentioned. Just remember to include those calories in your daily count.

Another wonderful beverage you may enjoy is a Mint Chocolate Coffee Smoothie. The directions are below:

  • Blend 6 ounces of chilled, strong brewed coffee, peppermint stevia, dark or milk chocolate stevia, ¼ teaspoon defatted cocoa powder (Wondercocoa), 1 tablespoon milk (optional), and ice cubes. Serve with a mint leaf garnish if desired. (Yes, you can also add a little vodka if desired.) Stevia is always to taste.
