HCG Diet Phase 1, 2, 3, 4 Explained – Learn How to Lose Weight Fast

HCG Diet Phase 1, 2, 3, 4

Accomplishment often requires a plan, and to lose and keep weight off you need to complete the HCG Diet Phase 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Consider each of the HCG Diet phases to be your weight loss blueprint or plan. You are building and creating a new way of eating. The result will be a trimmer, healthier body that you can be proud of when you get dressed each day.

What do the four HCG Diet phases mean?

Each HCG Diet Phase has its purpose. You may see them explained differently on other websites. Weight Loss Medical Center clarifies each of the phases as follows:

Phase 1 – the two-day loading phase

Phase 2 – the weight loss phase

Phase 3 – the stabilization phase

Phase 4 – the maintenance phase – or lifelong phase

You may see Phase 3 explained differently. Our HCG Guidebook describes Phase 3 as a transition phase. A two-day time when you will end the HCG injections but continue the 500-calorie diet. We then list Phase 4 as the maintenance phase, but, if you view it as the time to stabilize your body at the lower weight, you will enter a lifelong maintenance period after that.

Because many people do not view the two days following the injections as a separate phase, we are going to leave it at the end of Phase 2 for the purposes of this article.

How to Do HCG Diet Phase 1

People love the HCG Diet Phase 1. Why? Because you get to eat anything you want in unlimited quantities. In fact, we need you to spend these first two HCG injections days eating more than you would usually consume in a day. The minimum dietary intake for these two days is 2,000 calories, but if you typically eat more than that, aim for a 50% increase.

The only food rule is to avoid excessive amounts of sugar. Consuming too much sugar will cause cravings when you begin the HCG Diet. What you do want to consume is foods with high-fat content. Think greasy, fried food, burgers, pasta, pizza – you get the idea.

As you begin your journey through the HCG Diet Phase 1, 2, 3, and 4, you will change how you view and crave food. Just start out right by loading your bloodstream with plenty of fat, and you will be ready to lose weight fast.

How to Do HCG Diet Phase 2

As you begin the HCG Diet Phase 2, you are already injecting HCG and vitamin B12 and MIC/LIPO each morning. These injections will help you burn fat, convince the hypothalamus that the body is not hungry, and provide an additional energy boost.

You will now consume between 500 and 700 calories each day of foods from our HCG Diet food list. If it is not on the list, it does not go in your mouth.

Eliminated from your diet at this time are:

  • All forms of sugar and artificial sweeteners – only stevia is allowed
  • All carbohydrates
  • All starches
  • All dairy except one tablespoon of non-fat milk each day for your coffee
  • All fats except one tablespoon of MCT oil daily if desired
  • Specific protein, vegetable, and fruits as stipulated in the HCG food list

You no longer administer HCG on days 43 and 44. That is the transition phase that gets you ready to stabilize your new weight. It takes two days for the HCG to leave your body. Then you can continue to the next part of the HCG Diet Phase 1, 2, 3, and 4 protocol.

How to Do HCG Diet Phase 3

Once you have completed the two low-calorie days without HCG, it is time to stabilize your body at its lower weight. We see this phase called the stabilization, maintenance, and transition phase by different clinics and websites. Weight Loss Medical Center views days 43 and 44 as the transition period.

You will increase your caloric intake during HCG Diet Phase 3, first to 1,000 and then 1,200 – 1,300 each day. You will also include many foods that were off limits during Phase 2.

During Phase 3, which lasts from day 44 through 73, you must still avoid the following foods:

  • Sugars
  • Artificial sweeteners
  • Starches
  • Carbohydrates

Avoiding these foods during this protocol allows your body to get over these cravings completely. If you still have more weight to lose after this phase, you may complete the program again.

How to Do HCG Diet Phase 4

HCG Diet Phase 4 is really the rest of your life. After day 73 you may eat whatever you want. Just remember that gluttony can put the weight you lost back on again. Weight Loss Medical Center recommends continuing with the healthy food preparation and eating habits you have learned. If you do, you should have no problem maintaining your trimmer body for life.
