The official HCG Diet guide is your secret for rapid weight loss success. Everything you need to rid your body of unwanted fat once and for all can be found in Weight Loss Medical Center’s HCG Diet guidebook. HCG unlocks the potential for rapid fat burning throughout the body. Most women will see the numbers on the scale drop between one half and one pound each day. Men can expect closer to a pound of fat loss every day due to their higher muscle content.

The HCG Diet guidelines featured here are based on the original HCG Diet. The protocol was designed by A.T.W. Simeons – the doctor who created the HCG Diet back in the 1950s. The diet as created called for consumption of 500 calories per day along with daily HCG injections. The HCG Diet as we know it today has changed a little, thanks to new medical advances and additional foods you can eat.

HCG Diet Guide for Phase 1

The HCG Diet begins with Phase 1 – a two-day protocol that must be followed to prevent hunger, headaches, and fatigue. To begin the HCG Diet guidelines, Phase 1 starts with one injection of HCG, and one of Vitamin B12, and MIC/LIPO in the morning. During these two days, please consume a minimum of 2,000 calories of foods with high-fat content.

Why do you consume fat-laden foods for two days?

Your body needs to load up with healthy fats to prevent going into a starvation mode when you cut calories on day 3. The goal for caloric intake on these two days is 50% more than usual, so adjust accordingly. Failure to complete these two days of high-fat binging will reduce your results and may lead to extreme hunger.

Avoid foods with high sugar content as that will cause a sugar crash on day 3 of the HCG Diet. You want to aim for high fat not high sugar in your foods.

HCG Diet Guide for Phase 2

Phase 2 of the HCG Diet begins on day 3 of your injections. At this time, you will cut your caloric intake down to between 500 and 700 each day. By following these HCG Diet guidelines, Phase 2 will be easy to complete. You will also experience rapid weight loss and increased energy as your body burns through stored fat. Guidelines for Phase 2 of the HCG Diet:

  • Eliminate all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages except water, sparkling water, tea, and coffee
  • Eat only the foods on the HCG Diet food list we provide
  • Use only Stevia as a sweetener
  • You may have one tablespoon of non-fat milk for your coffee each day
  • All creams, lotions, moisturizers, and makeup must be oil free
  • You may not consume nuts, dairy, or carbohydrates
  • Choose organic whenever possible
  • If you are hungry between meals you may have one small apple – eat as snack in place of with meal
  • Drink at least half your body weight in water each day
  • Administer your injections at the same time each morning
  • Continue with the very low-calorie diet for two days after completing your HCG injections
  • Substitute an apple day only if you have not lost any weight for three or more days

HCG Diet Guide for Phase 3

Phase 3 is your four-week maintenance/stabilizing protocol. Your guide for the HCG Diet plan, Phase 3 will include the new foods you can add back into your diet. You will still avoid sugar and starch during this time.

At first, you will increase your calories up to 1,000 per day. Once your body stabilizes at that level without weight gain, you can then go up to 1,200 calories each day. You may also have small amounts of alcohol during this phase of the HCG Diet.

After four weeks, you will then be able to eat whatever you want in any quantity if you have achieved your weight loss goal. If not, you may repeat the entire HCG protocol for further weight loss.
